DISCOVERY CALL
1. Discovery Call
Our first step is a 15–20 minute phone call to explore your vision, timeline, and budget, and to determine whether we are the right fit. It is a chance for both of us to get a feel for the collaboration ahead. -
CONSULTATION AND SITE VISIT
2. On-Site Consultation + Project Proposal
If you are located in Northern California, we will schedule an in-person consultation. During this visit, we will dive deeper into your goals and preferences, identify environmental opportunities and challenges, and clarify your project scope and budget. I will take key site measurements, document existing conditions, and conduct a preliminary assessment.
After the visit, you will receive a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, rough budget, and project timeline. -
SCHEMATIC DEISGN
3. Schematic Design
Once the proposal is approved, we move into the concept phase. This is where your landscape begins to take shape on paper. We develop a preliminary layout that defines spatial relationships, character, and key features. Then we meet to review, refine, and collaborate, incorporating your feedback, researching materials, and exploring ideas to strengthen the design. -
FINAL DESIGN AND PRESENTATION
4. FINAL DESIGN AND PRESENTATION
With the concept solidified in the schematic phase, we develop a comprehensive set of design documents.
You will also receive an interactive horticultural presentation so you can explore the selections and get to know the plants that will bring your garden to life. -
5. DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
We also offer support through the installation phase. With a long history of managing projects from concept to completion, I can help match you with a trusted contractor or step in to manage or assist with installation directly in select cases. Whether you're looking for guidance or hands-on help, I’ll ensure your landscape vision is brought to life with care and precision.
